In addition, she holds workshops for Plano Arts Center, Denton Friends and Family and Art for Community Sake. “Art is my life. Teaching is my passion. Allison is also a fixture in the Dallas art community where her work has been exhibited extensively in both regional and national exhibitions. Allison’s quiet intensity is reflected in her bold, figurative paintings addressing the transient nature of existence. She is an enthusiastic teacher devoted to her students and their success in the arts. In the classroom and studio she creates a comfortable and inspirational environment that promotes an ongoing exchange of ideas and nurtures creativity. Allison strives to make connections; to be a catalyst, and to make a difference in people’s lives.
